Blinged up Porchester Square

I'm currently loving my latest mani. Nails inc 'Porchester Square', with a fade of Zoya 'Godiva' & then Zoya 'ZP719' all finished with a coat of Orly matte top coat.

Zoya PixieDust Carter

Zoya PixieDust Carter is a gorgeous textured (sandy) royal purple with a beautiful hint of magenta that dries matte. The formula was consistent and went on smoothly, but it did need three coats to look it's best. I consider it a decadent look-at-me shade.

Nails Inc 'Chelsea Green'

Nails Inc 'Chelsea Green' polish is a matte light grey base colour full of tiny silver & black finely milled glitter. Here I have two coats which easily achieved full coverage, it dried very quickly and stayed on until I wanted to remove it - although that said, I have so many polish colours that they rarely stay on more than 3 or 4 days. It was nice, but probably not completely me if I am honest, but I now know that if I want to do my nails quickly then I can grab this and it will dry quicker than the average colour.

Free Nails Inc polish with Marie Claire magazine

Models Own Chrome collection

I recently bought a few colours from the 'Models Own' Chrome collection. I couldn't wait to try them, but I have to say that I was a little disappointed. Even though my nails were newly buffed and I used my fave basecoat, the colours still appeared streaky once applied. I found that the quicker you applied and the more polish you put on the better the result, but despite the fab wide brush, it still didn't look as I would have liked. This photo was the first time I'd applied them so I will try and try again, but this was my first experience of them. I haven't tried them for stamping, so will do that soon. Colours are from bottom to top - 'Chrome Rose'. 'Chrome Green', 'Chrome Gold' & 'Chrome Pink'.

Frozen style nails

Every child I come cross these days seems to be obsessed by the film 'Frozen', so I thought I'd have a go at 'Frozen' inspired nails. I quite like the finished product. I used a Matte Off White Nails Inc polish with a subtle shimmer called 'Dukes Yard' and then brushed on the streaks with a fine (well used) brush using Colour Club 'Blue Heaven' which is a pale blue holographic which works well in contrast to the white matte base. Here is the result.

PiCture pOlish 'Pirouette'

PiCture pOlish's 'Pirouette' is a micro holographic mid pink, it is gorgeous in any light where you can see tiny flecks of blue amongst the rose pink, but under a strong light or sunlight the jewel like holo comes to life. 

Here I have applied two coats which went on smoothly, I finished with top coat but then decided I actually prefer it without. This gorgeous polish is really wearable for every day, but would also be a stunning addition to any evening outfit.

Soigné 'Bleu de Gex' & Nails Inc 'Knightsbridge Place'

For todays nails I have used Soigné 'Bleu de Gex' as the base & topped off with the unusual Nails Inc 'Knightsbridge Place'
